Just the title alone might bring about some doubt to your situation especially if you have been out of work for a while. On the flip side, there is an upside - the dreaded word that we love to hate -- change. Change works two ways both pro and con. The key, of course, is to be on the positive side of change. In essence, if you want to change your job situation than you need to start with changing your thinking.
